Today's match against Sunday FC was supposed to be cancelled due to the continuous raining. As both teams are at the field and the referee had deemed the field as playable, we proceeded with the match with the permission from the organizer.

Both sides started the match brightly and both had chances to score. Sunday FC took the lead in the 5th minute when Boon Chen misjudged the bounces of the ball following a long-range effort by their captain. 5 minutes later, Kenny almost got e equalizer when Ruiqiang squared the ball to him but his shot was pushed over the bar by the goalkeeper. In the 17th minute, Hornet FC was not to be denied the equalizer when birthday boy, Razali sent a long shot into the net. 8 minutes later, Hornet FC took the lead when Ruiqiang sent a diving header into the goal from a corner by Ah Seng. Both teams had chances to score but were let down by poor finishing or were kept out by the 2 goalkeepers whom both had a great day.

Hornet FC came out strongly in the 2nd half in search of extending the leading. In the 49th minutes, Binnson met a cross by Weiqiang and he scored his 3rd goal in 2 matches. 1 minute later, Weiqiang sent a through ball down the middle and Ruiqiang, after breaking the offside trap, dribbled past the goalkeeper and sent the ball into the empty net. Hornet FC is cruising the game by now, but a counter attack in the 58th minute saw Sunday FC bringing the score to 4-2. Sunday FC began to build up pressure on Hornet FC's defense and in the 73rd minute, no. 29 of Sunday FC volleyed in a goal from inside the penalty box.

Fear of a repeat of what happened against Destaportivo flow through Hornet FC. The whole team began to defend with 10 men, but a minute before full time, Sunday FC scored the equalizer with a header. 4-4 was the final score. Another disappointing match for Hornet FC for allowing another comeback.

After match thoughts: We took things too easy again after taking the lead. We should continued to attack and score more goals instead of sitting back and defend. Concentration not good as well.
